DATV announced the appointment of Randy Phillips as the New Executive Director at Dayton Public Access Television, DATV. Randy is an experienced leader in the Non-Profit sector coming from a local nonprofit organization which champions equal rights and community at its very core. Randy is also known for large community events and fundraising events he has led in the Dayton area over the years.
While working with the Greater Dayton LGBT Center Randy was able to grow their Annual “PRIDE” event from a single day event to a three-day event attracting over five thousand people and raising thousands of dollars for the non-profit.
Marlese Durr, board chair of DATV stated: “We are happy to have Randy on board.”
DATV is a membership driven nonprofit 501c3 organization whose mission is to serve as a community forum that empowers all to learn, create, and express their ideas through electronic media. The cars and motorcycles of the Fabulous ’50s will be featured at the 2022 Dayton Concours on Sunday, September 18. There will also be special class featuring Marmon automobiles. The Dayton Concours d’Elegance at Carillon Park presented by AAA is the Midwest’s premier classic & antique automobile and motorcycle show. The invitational event brings some of the finest historical cars and motorcycles together inside the grounds of the 65-acre historical park.




TEDxDayton is back in-person for a 10-year celebration that will be TEDxDayton’s biggest event yet, featuring a full slate of locally connected speakers who will share their “ideas worth spreading” on topics ranging across science, education, design, technology, art, history, culture and more. The day will also include performances by artists, dancers, and musicians from the Dayton area, along with surprise announcements and experiences. This 10-year celebration of TEDxDayton is one not to miss.

The City of Dayton’s annual Neighborhood Conference will convene Saturday, Oct. 1, from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Belmont High School, hosted by the Department of Planning, Neighborhoods and Development.
