Young’s Jersey Dairy has a new way to serve you at the Dairy Store – A Drive-Thru!
To conform to the current public health rules, they are only taking orders using their newly created drive-thru. They’ve curated their menu to their best selling sandwiches, side orders (cheese curds!), homemade ice cream cones, shakes and sundaes.
When you arrive, follow the signs to the order booth located in front of the Dairy Store in the parking lot, place your order (one of our amazing Staff will be there to take your order), then pull around to the pickup area located in the back of the store and be on your way.
Young’s feels this limited menu is the is the best way to get through the month of April while keeping Young’s open, giving the ability to keep some of their staff employed, and doing their part to keep everyone safe.

You can also order using their online app and then follow the sign for the pickup area.
https://toasttakeout.com (If you can’t find Young’s Dairy after you downloaded the app, you may need to ‘change your location’ within the app. Type in Yellow Springs and you’ll find them there.) You can use this app to preorder your pints (and breaded curds!). They’ll have your order ready for you when you arrive.

So earlier this week we decided to put up a DaytonDining Quiz, knowing folks had some extra time on their hands after the Governor’s stay at home order. We pulled 10 questions, mostly based on past stories from MostMetro.com. Our former food adventure partner Steve “The Big Ragu” Milano provided a good amount of the research that helped us pick these questions. We saw many posts saying the questions were to hard, but based on the results, we must have some smart foodie followers. 84% of the respondents were woman, folks from 18 different zip codes entered and 16 people aced the answers. From those, 16 we randomly drew our winner and Dawn Heit from Clayton will be receiving a $25 gift card to Old Scratch Pizza.
